The Kerbside map page is what I have been working on for the last month. It required a different set of tools to create the district authority boundaries, but was a fun process to get back in to “geospatial stuff”. As always, you’re more than welcome to get in touch and let me know what you think!

Added the recycling transfer and drop-off station data points for both Whakatane and Ashburton District Councils. Now at 1098 markers across 10 maps.

Tidied import process up a little bit to deal with special characters in place names.

Removed the “labels” from showing on the maps as for some of the more popular recycling maps, the labels were adding a lot of clutter.

Changed map behaviour so you now need to click on the markers/points to open the information window. Before, hovering the mouse would bring up the information and make the map move to that points location.
